Too Much Jimmy Choo Can Mean Back Pain for You!

Most of us have put our foot in our mouth at one time or another, but did you know that your foot, both of them, can have detrimental effects that go far beyond “embarrassment”? That’s right! Those feet of yours can create back pain when you’re on them too much, whether you are standing or walking, especially if you’re doing either while wearing inappropriate shoes. You’ve probably read plenty of health articles about the importance of wearing good footwear when you run. But, it is important for you to wear good shoes whenever you are on your feet!  Shoes that don’t fit well, or have been worn down in an imbalanced way due to poor posture and/or gait, can cause your spine to be thrown out of alignment. Add to this, a shoe with a too-high heel, and you’ve got a recipe for painful low back issues! Too-fashion conscious for their own good, many women choose Jimmy Choo and Valentino over a healthy spine, hips, knees, and feet.

High heels, worn on occasion, and balanced out with the consistent wearing of well-fitting shoes with low-to-no heels, good arch support, and supportive cushioning, may still cause temporary back pain. But, an occasional fashion statement won’t cause the kind of permanent musculo-skeletal problems that can often interfere with both business and social activities in life, and sometimes require invasive surgery and painful rehabilitation. What you do on a regular basis, every day, to take care of your spine to keep it healthy makes all the difference. And there’s just no way of getting around it: If your shoes are not supporting your foot properly when you’re on your feet, you will have back pain as a repercussion!
