Anyone can place seeds in the ground and let them grow, but a man would be fully occupied making one seed grow, supervising the complex chemical activities necessary to life. To do it for one hundred or one thousand seeds would drive the best human being crazy; yet without the slightest effort Omniscience supervises a billion seeds. This is the Wisdom with which we deal in spiritual healing.

Since it has the necessary knowledge to build a body out of the common materials circulating in the motherâ??s blood, it certainly has not forgotten how new cells are built. Sometimes it amazes humanity by doing some remarkable rebuilding without human intervention after man has done his best and failed. Usually the prerequisite is a human consciousness that says, â??I believe that ALL the wisdom of God is rebuilding this body now.â?

Then is needed a power before which this seemingly intractable condition is nothing.

A person may bring himself to regard a serious growth as of no more moment than a pimple. People know that pimples disappear after a short time. As a result, they do not fear them, there is some chemical action or some power which automatically seems to remove them. They know vaguely that there is some chemical action or some power which automatically seems to remove them. When they are able to lift their awareness to this Power to the point where even the serious condition is seen to be as no more than a pimple to the Power, they are fulfilling another condition of healing. It might be stated in this way: as long as the fear of the condition outweighs the knowledge of the Power, there is no healing; as soon as the knowledge of the Power outweighs the fear of the condition, healing occurs.

Many â??littleâ?? things are healed with a partial consciousness and a weak faith, but from time to time arise conditions which call for not some but all of the power of God, because the need for a consciousness of Omnipotence, in which manâ??s puny fears can be immersed forever.

Next is Omnipresence.

Since man has observed the Super Intelligence way out in space and at the same time buried in the infinitesimal atom, he knows that a characteristic of God must be Omnipresence.

The significance of this in healing has been overlooked. Man can readily grasp the concept of God as filling distant space; he can carry this over into a belief that Super-Intelligence fills the atmosphere of the city, for he sees the stars above; he can make it more intimate by imagining that it fills the room in which he is, that it permeates his clothing; then he can make it intensely personal by thinking of it as saturating his hear, his skin, penetrating within to the most central cell of his body. In this latter he is supported by the physiologist who sees the working of Intelligence in the chemistry of a single cell. He calls it Intelligence; we call it Infinite Healing Presence. Does it matter if we call it Nature, or God?

In one sense our surrender to illness is a denial of Omnipresence. We assist in our healing when we declare, â??Right where that trouble seems to be, God is, as the Infinite Healing Omnipresence. Not near, not all around, but right in the middle of it, filling that spot to the limit so that there is no room for anything unlike Itself. I surrender myself, thought and body, to the flow of Omnipresence.

We have the feeling that Divine Intelligence must have other interests besides ours.

All the undivided attention of Super-Intelligence is concentrated on Our problem, as though there were not another person in the universe, nor a blade of grass not a star. One of the secrets of Jesus power was that he considered himself the only-begotten Son of the Father; hence it was easy to feel that all the Fatherâ??s resources were at his disposal.

There is no secret to healing for its method is spread across the face of nature.

The secret is in knowing how to apply what nature shows us to our everyday life, and even to translate what we observe to our own healing and health.
Find Natural Healing Arts in the United States and Canada. There has been a revitalized interest in the natural healing arts; and as public demand continues to grow for noninvasive and natural health treatments, students who are pursuing natural healing arts as a career discover the unlimited potential that exists today.

While there are a great number of natural healing arts schools that offer massage therapy as a core curriculum, there are many natural healing arts options in which individuals can participate. For example, if you would like to learn more about herbal medicine, there are several herbal medicine and Chinese medicine institutions that extend natural healing arts curriculums in aromatherapy, botanical medicine, herbal prescription, Bach Flower remedies, and detoxification therapies.

Other natural healing arts schools offer coursework in naturopathy, homeopathy, energy healing medicine (Reiki, touch therapy, chakra balancing, etc.), holistic nutrition and skincare, holistic practitioner modules, and the like.

In massage schools, courses in natural healing arts involve a variety of base subjects including anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, CPR and first aid, Swedish massage and deep tissue massage, and history and philosophy of massage therapy. However, due to competition, a lot of natural healing arts programs have begun to integrate a broader assortment of bodywork modalities including acupressure/Shiatsu, sports massage, animal massage (and equine), medical massage (or Chinese medical massage/Tuina), prenatal and infant massage, oncology/cancer massage, geriatric massage, reflexology (foot and hand massage), craniosacral therapy, chair massage, hydrotherapy, among many others.

Natural healing arts also involve the training and application of colon hydrotherapy, color and music therapies, Rolfing, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), holistic midwifery, Feldenkrais, naprapathy, Ayurvedic medicine, breathwork and much more subject matter.

Depending on which career path you choose to pursue, a number of occupations in the natural healing arts require certification and/or licensure. Those seeking degree programs in natural healing arts find that some alternative medicine schools offering chiropractic, naturopathic medicine and acupuncture do extend these courses of study.

*Aforementioned topics are a mere sampling of the wide array of career-training programs that are available through natural healing arts schools today.

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding natural healing arts, let professional training within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started! Explore career school programs near you.

You have probably come across exotic-sounding terms such as ‘chakra’,'prana’, ‘aura’, and ‘tantra’ in your course of reading books on spirituality, sex, and healing in the New Age literature section of the bookstore. But what’s the real scoop behind these exotic vocabularies?

Are All Energy Healings the Same?

Chakra or energy center is a term used in Pranic healing, an ancient Hindu system of energy healing. ‘prana’ means life energy. ‘Aura’ is another terminology traced to Pranic healing. Aura is a non-physical body that consists of energy, which exists along with our physical body. The aura that covers our body is said to have seven layers pertaining to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual as manifested by energy. Studying the color and thickness of auras give ideas on the state of health of individuals. Six colors are associated with aura and interpreted into six personalities. These colors are all present in an individual but one or two are more pronounced.
Green – ambitious achiever
Blue – spiritual peacemaker
White – unconventional chameleon
Red – activist
Orange – creative communicator
Violet – psychic

Although Tantra is popularly associated with the peculiar practice of sex and spirituality, it is another method of energy healing. It comes from the word ‘tan’ which means to spread or expand. The concept of connectedness is a recurring theme in Tantric writings on sex and spirituality. As a method of healing, spirituality and sex figure prominently. It is presupposed that the union of man and woman can reach spiritual levels during orgasm, which removes the body and mind off collected impurities. These impurities being negative energies can in turn manifest as physical illnesses.

Unlike Pranic and Tantric healings, which have Hindu origins, Reiki originated from Japan. It is relatively younger than Pranic and Tantric healings having been rediscovered in the early 1900′s. Reiki stands for universal energy, an energy brought forth by higher intelligence. Students of Reiki are taught how to tap this energy to heal physical, emotional, and mental illnesses.

Although Pranic, Tantra, and Reiki are all systems of energy healing, they differ in the type of energy tapped for healing: life energy, sexual energy, and universal energy respectively.

The concepts of the connectedness of mind, body, and spirit; the connection of individuals to all living and nonliving things around them and to the universe; and how energy impacts physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are some of the salient similarities of these three healing methods.

Why Do People Turn to Energy Healing?

Pranic, Tantric, and Reiki are considered alternative methods of healing. In spite of the availability and relative accessibility of modern medicine, how come more and more people are being drawned to them? Here are some possible reasons:

- Energy healing worked where modern medicine failed.

For several reasons both explainable and unexplainable, modern medical treatment failed to heal ailments and conditions in several if not many persons. Research or data may not be able to support this statement. But for the families of the dying as well as for the dying patient, they would take the risk of using alternative methods ranging from herbals and organics, faith healers, witch doctors, and New Age healing techniques just to be get well.

- People perceive modern medicine to be isolating.

Medical treatments are oftentimes focused on the disease and its causative agent, which can make a patient feel isolated and treated like a mere host of the disease. Although recent developments in hospital practice are gradually promoting the holistic treatment of a patient, the perception still persists. Unlike in energy healing, since energy and spirituality are intimately linked, the patient feels that all aspects of his health are being attended to.

- Energy healing is non-obtrusive and natural thus it is safer.

Repeated surgical procedures are physically and emotionally traumatic for most patients. It is but a logical and attractive option to both patient and families to look for less stressful health interventions. Moreover, with the rising popularity of New Age religions, going natural is the way to go.

- Energy healing is a good way of relieving stress.

Meditation is part and parcel of energy healing methods and this is an added come-on for highly stressed people. Moreover, sophisticated equipment is not required thus it becomes all the more convenient for students and future students of energy healing.

The battle between alternative healing and mainstream medicine continues as both present the benefits of their approach. But in the final analysis, what matters is the restoration of good health.

For thousands years our ancestors used plants to cure many health problems. Here are a few ways in which you too can get better health, memory and appearance with the help of healing herbs.

Most Asian countries are famous for their use of medicinal heeling herbs. Favorable warm climate is one explanation as well as the culture, where it is traditional to use herbs to fight diseases when even modern drugs don’t work. But these days people in many countries other than Asia use healing herbs as safe and natural way to healthy life.

People use herbs in many different ways to improve their ways of life for example, diet herbal supplement, or as body creams and lotions with medicinal herbs.

Healing herbs vs. conventional drugs

Explanation of healing herbs popularity is simple, people use natural medicinal herbs instead of the drugs you can buy in chemist shops because herbs don’t create you any additional health problems, there are no side effects.

How effective is herbal medicine? It usually gives the same result as most chemical drugs; however, it will not work as fast as strong conventional drugs. For the reason that natural healing herbs stimulate your immune system to fight the disease and that takes time. Healing herbs are only beneficial if taken regularly and exactly as prescribed. And to make sure the cure works, don’t stop taking it when you feel better, finish the treatment for lasting result.

Using healing herbs for your benefit

People who have serious health problems, like high blood pressure, heart conditions and even cancer try natural herbal treatments in hope that it will work. As already mentioned, the side effects of herbal medicine are minimal, but you still need to administer the right ingredients. For herbal medicine to work best it should be taken at the right dosage and at the right time of day. Morning is usually a good time. To find the best herbs for your problem, you should not rely on advertisement, but talk to a doctor about any herbs you want to use.

Don’t just assume that all medicinal herbs are good for you

Many people tend to self-medicate, but you really shouldn’t, because natural herbs not always agree with other medication you take. Most doctors agree, you won’t receive many benefits when you are not careful of what herbal medication you take and how.

Most commonly known healing herbs are:
Aloe Vera
Garlic
Chamomile
St John’s wort
Tea tree

You need doctor’s advice

Find a doctor who is knowledgeable about herbal medicine, not all modern physicians approve of using herbs for healing, so not all of them can give you an advice about healing herbs. He or she will get all the necessary information to find the right herbal treatment for you. Then the doctor will suggest what herbal medicine should be used to fight your condition.

There are so many different herbs that can be used for medicinal purposes. Herbs for arthritis, depression, high blood pressure, menopause and other conditions. Herbs for weight loss are also very popular. So all you really need to do collect info about what herbs can do for your health.

Does energy healing really work? If you ask some health researchers, you may discover that energy healing has clearly earned a prominent place in the natural healing community. According to a report by Compton Hospice [1], “the last decade has seen an increase in the integration and usage of CTs (Complementary Therapies) to conventional medical treatment,” due, in part to documented results of decreased pain perception, stress reduction, increased relaxation and an enhanced sense of overall wellbeing. These benefits have been demonstrated in those patients who are in palliative or hospice care.

Energy healing techniques, such as Reiki, have been integrated into cancer patient care. Reiki (pronounced “Ray-Key”) is an energy healing “system of enlightenment and a hands-on healing art developed in the early 1900′s by Mikao Usui in Japan.” [2] However, some findings trace this natural healing art back thousands of years ago. Based on Qi energy, or “universal life energy,” this energy healing therapy is facilitated to channel spiritual energy through the practitioner’s hands to heal the patient’s spirit; which then is purported to initiate self-healing of the physical body.

In an interesting turn of events, energy healing has begun making its appearance in the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, VA. [3] In order to enhance health care services, energy medicine, such as healing touch has become part of the nursing care system to produce positive outcomes for persons suffering from spinal cord injuries and other major health conditions. Because findings demonstrate that healing touch can productively influence emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing, healthcare services now include holistic modalities based in part on the Watson’s transpersonal-caring-healing model.

As a non-invasive complementary therapy, energy healing is known for its innate ability to connect the mind, body and spirit in order to restore balance to the body’s self-healing mechanisms. Other forms of energy healing include a variety of natural healing techniques including acupressure, polarity therapy, magnet therapy, light therapy, meditation, prayer and visualization.

In a free energy balancing program (healing touch) offered through Healing Partners at Stanford’s School of Medicine, and in a news release on Women’s Health at Stanford [4], patients reported feeling an immediate energy flow throughout their bodies. While there is no clinical evidence to support these findings, “69% of patients participating in the (healing touch) program experienced reduced depression and anxiety; 71% experienced increased energy, and 81% experienced an increased quality of life.” So, does energy healing really work? That depends entirely on the patient’s receptivity to the therapy, which in many instances, has proven beneficial.

Reiki is a natural healing system that millions around the world are using to balance energy, remove stagnant energy, and restore peace and harmony in the body, mind, and spirit.

Since the methods were rediscovered and renamed Reiki by Dr. Usui, people in nearly every country of the world are again using “the laying-on-of-hands” method for healing the physical body in one form or the other.

Many registered nurses, as well as massage therapists are finding that Reiki is the perfect compliment to their hands-on health practice.

Reiki Helps To Create A Balanced Environment

A balanced environment within one’s being is important so that healing can take place. Healers who have been attuned to the Reiki healing “flow” find that their natural healing energies have been enhanced. They also describe their healing energies as being more powerful and directed than before. Many traditional health practitioners are adding Reiki to their credentials.

Reiki Is Transferred To Students By A Reiki Master/Teacher

The Reiki master passes the training through a series of attunements. During the attunement process, sacred healing symbols are sealed into your energy field, so that you can flow the higher vibrations of energy. The attunement process opens you up permanently to the Reiki energy so that you can give Reiki treatments to yourself and others.

When you are attuned you become an open channel (or pipe) for the Reiki energy to flow through to yourself and others. The energy gently and constantly circulates in your body filling your heart area first, and flows out from that point on through your hands. When you place your hands on an object, whether it is a person, a pet, your plants, your food, or a crystal, the healing Reiki energy flows into that object as well.

Reiki raises the vibrational frequency of the person receiving the treatment.

Sickness is low vibrational frequency.

Wellness, health and joy are higher vibrational frequencies.

Three Benefits In Learning Reiki:

1.You will not use your own energy to heal others. You will always use the Source energy. You’ll be taught how to protect your own energy and not get drained when healing others.
2.You will not take on other peoples’ problems as your own.
3.Reiki will not harm anyone. The Reiki energy is always a benefit to the recipient. The more practice you get, the more benefit there is. Just like any tool you use, it gets better and better with practice.

Reiki works well with all healing modalities traditional and alternative, such as: nursing, massage therapy, Acupressure, Acupuncturists, Bach Flower, Chakra Balancing, Chi Gong, Chi Kung, Chi Nei Tsang, Cosmic Energetic Healing, Laser Reiki, Crystal Work, Dowsers, Essential Oils, Falun Gong, Feng Shui, Flower Essences, Gemstone Therapy, Healing Touch, Body workers, Homeopathic Medicines, Hypnotherapy, Tai Chi, Vibrational Healers, Yoga, Hellerwork, and all Holistic activities.

These healers above are adding Reiki certification to their tool kit. Mothers, kindergarten teachers, and schoolteachers are also learning Reiki because it makes their jobs easier.
